KBR and Terrestrial Energy Agree to Collaborate on the Application of Zero-Emissions Thermal Energy for Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Production
Oxford, United Kingdom, June 9, 2022 – Terrestrial Energy announced today that it has signed an agreement with KBR to investigate the application of zero-emission thermal energy for hydrogen and ammonia production.

Sydney, Australia and Oakville, Ontario, Canada, February 2, 2022 – ANSTO, Australia’s knowledge centre for nuclear science and technology, and Terrestrial Energy have agreed to explore ANSTO Synroc® (synthetic rock) proprietary waste treatment technology for used fuel management.
Under the agreement, ANSTO will provide technical consulting services to Terrestrial Energy for the conditioning of used reactor fuel from the operation of Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR®) heat and power plants in Canada, United Kingdom, United States, and other global markets.
Oakville, Ontario, Canada – November 30, 2021 – Terrestrial Energy and Siemens Energy Canada have signed a contract for the manufacturing and supply of steam turbines and other balance-of-plant equipment, such as transformers, switchgear, and motor drive systems, for the Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR®), a Generation IV nuclear power plant.
The IMSR® generates steam for power generation at standard utility class temperature and pressure, and from systems that are isolated from its nuclear reactor.

Bethesda, Maryland, and Oakville, Ontario – September 29, 2021 – Terrestrial Energy has entered into an agreement with Orano, a global leader in the nuclear fuel cycle, as part of its fuel supply program for operation of the Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR®), a Generation IV “next-generation” nuclear power plant.
The agreement’s broad scope of services includes uranium enrichment, chemical conversion to IMSR® fuel form, its production, transportation, packaging, and logistics.

Terrestrial Energy and ENGIE Laborelec to Advance Development of IMSR, a Small Modular Reactor Power Plant That Uses Molten Salt Technology
Terrestrial Energy has contracted with ENGIE Laborelec in Belgium for technical services. This contract is part of Terrestrial Energy’s nuclear fuel salt qualification program for the Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR®), a Generation IV nuclear power plant.
ENGIE Laborelec will perform confirmatory electrochemical and thermophysical measurements as well as confirmatory corrosion testing.
Frankenthal, Germany and Oakville, Ontario, Canada – March 17, 2021 – Terrestrial Energy has awarded KSB Pumps a supply contract to develop and manufacture primary pumps for use in the Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR®), a Generation IV advanced nuclear power plant.
