Terrestrial Energy USA Selected by U.S. DOE for an Award to Advance U.S. IMSR Pre-Licensing

The U.S. Department of Energy announced on Nov. 13 that it had selected Terrestrial Energy USA for a financial award to support the company’s pre-application activities with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

These activities will advance the licensing of the Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR®) power plant design in the U.S. and accelerate its deployment.
