Announcing Terrestrial Energy OCNI Supplier Day May 9, 2017 with Keynote from the Ontario Minister of Innovation


OAKVILLE, ON – April 27, 2017 – Terrestrial Energy and OCNI are pleased to announce our supplier workshop on May 9th, 2017, happening at the Hilton Garden Inn (Lakeshore/LaSalle Room) in Oakville, Ontario. The event runs from 8:30am to 1:00pm, and will be highlighted by keynote remarks from the Honourable Reza Moridi.

Reza Moridi currently serves as Minister of Research, Innovation and Science. Moridi was first elected to the Ontario legislature in 2007 as MPP for Richmond Hill. He was re-elected in 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, he was Minister of Research and Innovation, as well as Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities. He has served as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Energy, the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities, and the Minister of Research and Innovation.

In addition the keynote remarks, suppliers will hear about our proprietary Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR®) technology, and how this technology represents true innovation in cost reduction, safety and functionality.

It will provide clean, convenient, dispatchable and cost-competitive heat for many industrial applications, including electric power provision and heat for industrial processes, such as chemical synthesis and desalination. IMSR® technology extends the application of nuclear energy far beyond electric power markets. IMSR® power plants promise to transform industrial competitiveness, energy security, and drive economic growth.
